Chief Capability Delivery Officer

About the role

The Chief Capability Delivery Officer leads NATO’s Communications and Information Agency in delivering critical capabilities reliably, efficiently, and at pace. This executive position oversees the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle, ensuring programs meet schedule, budget, and quality expectations for operational use.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multicultural, multidisciplinary team to deliver programs from mobilization through build, test, accreditation, and transition to service.
• Translate product and capability requirements into clear, executable delivery plans and enforce delivery standards, methodologies, and governance.
• Coordinate across engineering, operations, and program teams to ensure capabilities are fit for purpose and ready for operational deployment.
• Oversee supplier performance, guaranteeing quality, value, and compliance with delivery commitments.
• Maintain robust systems‑engineering practices, aligning requirements, design, build, and integration.
• Lead testing, validation, assurance, and accreditation activities to meet security and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in complex, mission‑critical environments.
• Strong track record of delivering large‑scale programs on time, within budget, and to defined requirements.
• Ability to foster a culture of accountability, performance, and execution excellence.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with a customer‑first mindset.
