About the role
NEBIRU is looking for a proactive Business Development Consultant to drive growth in the Belgian IT staffing market. You will combine networking, consultative sales, and market intelligence to create long‑term client relationships and generate new revenue streams.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Belgian IT sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers, HR teams, and technology leaders.
- Understand hiring challenges and propose tailored IT staffing solutions.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with recruiters and delivery teams to ensure successful placements.
- Increase market visibility through LinkedIn, networking events, and industry conferences.
- Provide insights on market trends, client needs, and growth opportunities.
Required profile
- 2‑3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within IT staffing, recruitment, consulting, or IT services.
- Good understanding of the Belgian IT recruitment or technology landscape.
- Proven ability to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with a consultative mindset.
- Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial, fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent English; French and/or Dutch are strong assets.
