Business Controller – Benelux (Finance & Administration)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Controller to support Finance & Administration leadership across Belgium and the Netherlands. The role combines financial control, business partnering, forecasting, reporting, and operational performance monitoring in an international, fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor business activity, contracts and projects across the Benelux region and identify gaps between forecast and actual performance.
• Prepare, review and adjust forecasts, budgets and financial targets in line with business priorities.
• Support the monthly closing process, ensuring timely and reliable reporting.
• Analyze variances, track KPIs and provide clear recommendations and corrective actions to management.
• Monitor overhead costs and contribute to optimisation initiatives across operational support categories.
• Help improve working‑capital performance and support receivables follow‑up, including payment risk awareness.
• Contribute to the alignment of financial and analytical reporting and continuously improve controlling tools and processes.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Management, Economics or equivalent experience.
• 2‑5 years of experience in business controlling, FP&A or audit.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate figures into practical business insight.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.
• Start‑up mentality: autonomous, hands‑on, solution‑oriented.
