Controller – Finance

About the role

As Controller you will support the financial performance and growth of MPL’s international logistics organization. You will own the monthly closing and reporting cycle, help consolidate multiple entities and deliver accurate financial information on time.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly closing, reporting and consolidation of entities.
• Perform in‑depth financial analysis and performance monitoring to provide actionable insights.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, reporting quality and operational efficiency.
• Support strategic initiatives, continuous‑improvement projects and business‑partnering activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in controlling or a similar finance role.
• Strong analytical mindset, problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Proactive, adaptable team player who can also work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships across the business.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
