Breakfast Service Staff (f/h/d)

About the role

Join the vibrant team at MEININGER Hotel Bruxelles Gare du Midi as a Service Staff member, primarily responsible for delivering an excellent breakfast experience to our guests. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment, ensuring the buffet area runs smoothly and guests start their day with a smile.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle the breakfast buffet each day.
• Maintain a constant supply of varied, appealing food and beverage items.
• Prepare simple cold dishes such as cheese, sausage platters, and salads, and advise guests on ingredients.
• Welcome guests, inform them about special offers and the food‑and‑beverage menu.
• Keep the work station clean according to company standards.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and check deliveries.
• Work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends, early mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Required profile

• Friendly, open, and stress‑resistant personality with a passion for guest interaction.
• Early‑bird with flexible availability, including Sundays, holidays, and evenings.
• Possession of or willingness to obtain BHV and Social Hygiene diplomas.
• Team player who supports colleagues.
• Efficient, well‑structured work approach.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Previous experience in hospitality or service is desirable.
