Associate Lawyer – Banking & Finance (Antwerp)

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Associate Lawyer to join our young, collaborative team in Antwerp. You will be given real responsibility from day one, working on high‑value Banking & Finance matters for top‑tier clients.

Key responsibilities

• Advise private‑equity firms, corporates and financial institutions on a range of Banking & Finance issues.
• Participate in acquisition finance transactions, corporate lending and debt capital‑market deals.
• Assist with insolvency‑related aspects of finance transactions.
• Conduct in‑depth legal research and draft transaction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with senior associates and partners on complex files.
• Build strong client relationships through clear, pragmatic advice.

Required profile

• Belgian Master of Law degree with a solid academic record.
• 1–6 years of experience as a lawyer, preferably with exposure to banking or finance law.
• Analytical, detail‑oriented and solution‑driven mindset.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, down‑to‑earth approach.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Motivated to grow in a challenging professional setting.
