Applied AI Director

About the role

BOI is an AI transformation studio that partners with companies such as Walmart, Coca-Cola and Mastercard to turn enterprise AI into growth. As Applied AI Director, you will own the quality and delivery of complex AI transformation engagements end-to-end, working closely with the Managing Director of Applied AI. You will be the senior person across delivery and proposal development, leading clients from C-suite priorities to working AI capability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery from business case to production: own end-to-end delivery of complex, multi-workstream AI programs, from problem framing through build, deployment and measured value.
• Structure approaches, set direction and define top-down roadmaps, and run product discovery with client teams and end users to define the first release and success metrics.
• Shape the solution architecture and recommend build, buy or configure decisions defensible to a client CTO.
• Act as a trusted partner to clients, shaping their agenda and managing complex stakeholder dynamics.
• Independently structure proposals, scope engagements and shape commercial strategy, growing accounts and turning successful engagements into case studies, thought leadership and reusable IP.
• Champion AI-first ways of working, build your own tools and workflows, and lead, coach and develop team members across multiple engagements.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in consulting, agency or custom solution environments serving enterprise clients, having led complex engagements.
• STEM background with the ability to translate it into business impact.
• Experience growing accounts by structuring credible proposals and understanding how senior buyers evaluate feasibility, risk and value.
• Comfortable moving quickly from strategy to product, with a passion for building AI solutions.

What we offer

• A competitive package and solid perks.
• Delicious office lunches and regular team gatherings.
• The chance to work on pioneering AI transformation projects and to help build a growing company.
