Application Architect (Healthcare)

About the role

Keystone Solutions is looking for an experienced Application Architect to join a consultancy mission for a client in the health and care domain. You will be responsible for designing robust IT architectures that meet strict regulatory and business requirements while working closely with analysts and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain architectures for IT solutions in the healthcare sector.
• Deliver projects for federal institutions such as FPS Health and the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP).
• Develop a new authentication mechanism for applications integrated into the FAMHP portal.
• Define migration paths for applications to adopt the new authenticator.
• Support registration and validation processes for medical devices and actors on the Belgian market.
• Oversee design and implementation of health‑related projects for FPS Health.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in software engineering and application architecture.
• Previous roles as lead developer, solution architect, or application architect.
• Strong expertise in security, micro‑services, API‑first architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and consultancy environments.
