Aircraft Technician B1 – A400M (Kigali & Brussels)

About the role

Sabena Engineering is seeking a qualified Aircraft Technician B1 to support both civil and military aircraft maintenance. The role is split between six months at Kigali International Airport and six months at our Brussels facility, offering a unique international experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on civil aircraft in Kigali and military aircraft in Brussels.
• Execute line and base maintenance tasks following approved maintenance schedules and engineering directives.
• Interpret technical documentation, engineering diagrams, and manuals to ensure accurate work.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality service to clients.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all maintenance actions and component status.

Required profile

• Valid Part‑66 B1 licence with an A400M type rating and a current civil aircraft licence.
• Minimum three years of experience in aircraft line and base maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication abilities.
• Flexibility to work weekends when urgent maintenance is required.
• Fluent English.
