Technical Trainer

About the role

Our client, an international industrial technology company, seeks a Technical Trainer to deliver hands‑on training on specialised industrial machinery to customers, partners and internal teams. The role combines practical equipment work, customer interaction and international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical technical training through classroom sessions, machine demonstrations, hands‑on exercises and digital learning.
• Train customers, service technicians, partners and internal technical teams on equipment setup, operation and troubleshooting.
• Lead practical, hands‑on exercises and explain technical concepts, machine functionality and troubleshooting procedures.
• Create, update and assess technical training materials, presentations and assessments.
• Adapt technical information to audiences with varying experience levels.
• Collaborate with engineering, service and product teams to keep training content current.
• Track participant progress and maintain training records.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with industrial machinery or technical equipment (field service, maintenance, technical support, applications, commissioning or engineering).
• Practical experience maintaining, troubleshooting, installing or supporting industrial equipment.
• Ability to understand and clearly explain mechanical and electrical concepts.
• Confidence working directly with machinery and demonstrating equipment to others.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally when required.
