Software / Automation Engineer | Build Smart Industrial Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software / Automation Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain industrial software solutions. You will own software activities within automation projects, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, test, install, and maintain industrial software solutions.
• Take ownership of software-related tasks throughout automation projects.
• Create and maintain software validation documentation.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for internal and external software queries.
• Deliver solutions efficiently while balancing quality, cost, and schedule.
• Follow established quality procedures and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in automation and software development.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
• Hands‑on approach with passion for automation technology.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Ability to act as a technical reference for various stakeholders.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance (≈45 minutes).
