Legal Advisor

About the role

ENTSO‑E is seeking a motivated Legal Advisor to support the drafting, amendment and implementation of European Network Codes and Guidelines, ensuring alignment with EU energy legislation. The role is based in Brussels and works closely with the Legal & Regulatory Group, Market Committee and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review legislative texts, Network Codes and related legal documents for the electricity market.
• Provide legal support for the implementation of Network Codes, ensuring compliance with EU energy law.
• Assist in contract drafting, implementation and monitoring, and facilitate related discussions.
• Conduct legal research, consolidate findings and prepare reports, briefings and legal materials for senior management.
• Represent ENTSO‑E in meetings with the European Commission, ACER and other external bodies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law or equivalent professional experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in energy law, regulatory affairs or legal advisory.
• Strong analytical, research and drafting abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of European energy law, contract law and competition law.
• Legal research and legislative drafting.
