Freelance Full Stack Developer – Brussels

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Full Stack Developer to join our team in Brussels. You will lead the migration of an in‑house platform to SitecoreAI, ensure its ongoing support, and work closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and IT security specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the migration of the existing platform to SitecoreAI.
• Conduct regular code reviews focusing on scalability, performance and security.
• Optimize platform performance through caching, database tuning and CDN/WAF improvements.
• Enhance observability with monitoring, logging and alerting using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Define and adopt SLA/OLA, incident and change management processes.
• Document technical and security changes to meet governance and audit requirements.
• Support the project team throughout the SitecoreAI migration.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.
• Strong collaboration and documentation skills.
• Awareness of compliance and security issues.

Required skills

• Python (FastAPI)
• React (NextJS is a plus)
• NodeJS (NestJS is a plus)
• Headless CMS development (NodeJS, TypeScript a plus)
• Cloud deployment and DevOps pipelines
• Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• Familiarity with SitecoreAI
