Junior Support Engineer 24/7

About the role

An IT Support Engineer in a day‑shift system provides technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software and network issues both remotely and on‑site. They diagnose problems, implement solutions and maintain systems to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical assistance for hardware, software and network issues both remotely and on‑site.
• Diagnose problems, implement solutions and maintain systems to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Manage user accounts and deliver end‑user support to minimise downtime and boost productivity.

Required profile

• Training in IT support (associate degree, Syntra, VDAB…) or proven experience in a similar role.
• First‑line support experience or recent completion of an IT course.
• Fluency in English, Dutch and French.

Required skills

• Hardware: desktops, laptops, printers and peripheral installation and troubleshooting.
• Operating Systems: Windows and macOS, including basic commands and updates.
• Software: Microsoft Office, O365, email clients, Intune.
• Networking: IP addressing, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi, LAN concepts.
• Service‑desk tools: ServiceNow, Jira.
• Optional certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals, CCNA.
