Workplace Support Engineer

About the role

ACENSI Belgium is seeking a Workplace Support Engineer to join its client’s IT team. You will be the first point of contact for end‑users, delivering 1st and 2nd line support across a large enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide telephone, email and face‑to‑face support for hardware, software, tablets and smartphones.
• Filter, handle, coordinate and follow up on IT service requests.
• Identify, track and resolve incidents that affect end‑users.
• Manage workstation assets, set up and configure workstations.
• Prepare accurate support documentation as needed.
• Contribute to workplace‑related projects and innovation initiatives.
• Coordinate technical assistance with internal and external service providers.
• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure delivery according to agreed standards.
• Advise on workplace and mobile architecture concepts.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in IT workplace support within a large enterprise (1000+ users).
• Experience in a trading environment is a plus.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English (minimum CEFR level).
• Strong communication, active listening and sociability.
• Service‑oriented, able to work autonomously and under pressure.
• Analytical mindset, initiative‑driven and reliable.
