Remote Rust Engineer – AI Data Training Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an hourly‑paid, fully remote Rust Engineer to support AI data training initiatives. You will review, evaluate, and improve AI‑generated Rust code and explanations, helping large language models produce accurate, logical, and well‑structured answers.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Rust code, identify ownership, borrowing, lifetime, and algorithmic errors.
• Provide detailed, pedagogical feedback and write high‑quality explanations and model solutions.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on correctness, safety, and reasoning quality.
• Create prompts and responses to guide AI learning across diverse topics.
• Test AI models for inaccuracies or biases and ensure reliable performance.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of professional Rust development experience in backend, CLI, or systems projects.
• Strong grasp of Rust’s ownership, borrowing, and lifetime model.
• Experience evaluating idiomatic Rust code, including traits, generics, pattern matching, and error handling.
• Proficiency with LLMs or AI coding assistants and a disciplined validation approach.
• Excellent English writing skills (C1 level) and a detail‑oriented work style.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
