Webmaster

About the role

As a Webmaster at Netcompany you will provide technical support and operational follow‑up for site owners and webmasters, ensuring the reliability and performance of Drupal‑based web platforms. You will work closely with development teams to manage deployments, releases and infrastructure in a cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and address operational issues for site owners and webmasters.
• Diagnose and resolve Drupal incidents, applying workarounds to restore service.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of recurring problems and implement preventive solutions.
• Support development teams with deployment activities, release preparation and implementation procedures.
• Manage and maintain Drupal/LAMP infrastructure, including software configuration and hosting environments.
• Monitor Drupal site performance and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and manage AWS Cloud9‑based development environments.
• Oversee software releases, ensuring compliance with quality and procedural standards.
• Contribute to architecture reviews, security assessments and technical studies related to Drupal/LAMP infrastructure.
• Participate in technical working groups, user meetings and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Webmaster.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven experience in large multicultural organisations or EU institutions is a plus.

Required skills

• Drupal (5 years, including hosting, security and production support).
• LAMP stack – Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (5 years).
• AWS cloud services (3 years) and Cloud9 development environments.
• CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
