Senior Java Developer - European Institutions

About the role

A consultancy is seeking a Senior Java Developer for projects with European institutions in Brussels, Belgium. The position suits candidates who want to work in a diverse international environment and build a global network. EU candidates are welcome to apply, and candidates must be willing to relocate. A work permit is required for non-European candidates, but is not provided. The position is open to both contractors and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Design and development of components and building blocks
• Analyze the integration of different information systems
• Data analysis and data modeling
• Coordinate the implementation of the technical architecture
• Take part in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with users
• Define testing needs and assist in testing
• Help with testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master's degree
• 5 to 15 years of Java development experience
• Fluent English
• Willingness to relocate

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Spring
• Good knowledge of Hibernate
