About the role
ENGIE Laborelec is looking for a Vibrations Project Engineer to join its international team in Linkebeek. You will monitor and analyse vibration behaviour of turbo‑generator shaft lines in power plants, providing data‑driven insights and client support. The role is primarily remote with occasional on‑site visits.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed vibration analysis reviews of turbo‑generator shaft lines.
- Identify root causes of mechanical and vibration issues in power‑plant components.
- Advise customers on condition‑monitoring strategies for existing and new assets.
- Participate in remote condition‑monitoring service shifts for main shaft lines.
- Take part in an on‑call rotation (one week every eight weeks) to address urgent client requests.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data analysis and reporting.
- Customer‑oriented, excellent communicator and team player.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
