TMT Lawyer - Brussels

About the role

Linklaters is looking for a lawyer for its TMT/IP practice in Brussels. The team covers information and communication technologies, including data protection, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, telecoms and e-business, and advises multinationals on complex deals, projects and litigations across more than 100 countries. The role involves close contact with clients' legal, IT, security and operational units.

Required profile

• Bright, confident lawyer with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience and a keen interest in high-tech legal matters on a global scale.
• First-class European law degree, possibly combined with additional study or professional experience abroad or a postgraduate degree in tech, IT and/or data protection law.
• Registered with the Belgian Bar (A/B/E-list).
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
• Ability to supervise, motivate and develop team members.
