TMS Operator – Medical Manufacturing

About the role

The TMS Operator will work in a cleanroom environment supporting the production of medical devices. You will operate mixing, extrusion, braiding, packing, cutting machines and post‑cure ovens, ensuring product quality and compliance with ISO standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate mixing, extrusion, braiding, packing, cutting machines and post‑cure ovens, including loading raw material and unloading parts.
• Perform in‑line quality checks, rough trimming, and fine‑tune machine settings.
• Run single cutting machines, set up, load/unload, and verify product quality.
• Use inspection equipment for in‑process quality verification.
• Adjust machine settings to resolve defects or notify a supervisor when necessary.
• Maintain raw‑material supply and deliver work‑in‑progress to the next station using appropriate lifting equipment.
• Keep the work area clean and organized following 5S methodology and cleanroom protocols.
• Document production activities in the ERP system and compile required paperwork.
• Perform autonomous maintenance, preventative checks, and report any anomalies or safety incidents.

Required profile

• At least secondary‑level education.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with cleanroom gowning and hygiene procedures.

Required skills

• Basic ICT applications.
• Experience with ERP systems (considered an asset).
• Proficiency in shop‑floor practices and equipment handling.
• Use of inspection equipment for quality checks.
