Technician – Luxembourg Region

About the role

Join Elia Belgium, a key European transmission system operator, as a Technician supporting the Luxembourg region. You will work on high‑voltage and low‑voltage networks, ensuring reliable electricity supply while contributing to a greener energy future.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical measurements and test new equipment before commissioning.
• Maintain and repair high‑voltage transformers, cables, and overhead lines.
• Read and modify wiring diagrams, verify protection system settings.
• Conduct inspections and interventions on underground and overhead lines, including work at heights up to 150 kV pylons.
• Collaborate with safety teams to protect residents and contractors.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work in demanding field conditions.
• Team‑player attitude with initiative and problem‑solving mindset.
