Technician – Brussels Region

About the role

Elia Belgium is looking for motivated technicians to join its team in the Brussels region. You will contribute to the reliability and sustainability of Belgium’s electricity transmission network, working on high‑voltage, low‑voltage, cable and line projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical measurements and test new equipment before commissioning.
• Maintain and repair high‑voltage and low‑voltage grid components, including transformers, cables and pylons.
• Read and modify wiring diagrams, ensuring correct protection system settings.
• Carry out inspections, interventions and repairs on underground and overhead lines, often at height.
• Support safety initiatives for local residents and contractors working on the network.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and ability to interpret wiring diagrams.
• Commitment to safety as the top priority.
• Team player with initiative and willingness to take on challenges.
