Technical Sales Engineer / Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who will also act as a trainer for our Solar Academy. The role combines customer‑facing technical support with the preparation of complex quotations and the delivery of product training across our Home & Business Solutions portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to customers on existing and future products, especially in the residential segment.
• Prepare pre‑designs, material lists and complex quotations for projects.
• Proactively inform customers about product changes and new innovations.
• Maintain technical contact points at customer sites and act as the internal hub for product knowledge.
• Support residential project delivery from kick‑off meetings through planning and proposal stages.
• Deliver training courses for the Solar Academy and ensure consistent technical understanding for internal pre‑sales teams and external customers.
• Manage technical files and documentation in Salesforce.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in electro‑technics, civil or industrial engineering or a related field.
• Residency in Belgium.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical sales environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; good knowledge of French or German is a plus.
• Stress‑resistant, team‑oriented and customer‑centric attitude.
