Technical Project Manager – Complex Systems (VoIP, Radio, DataComm)

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, safety-critical systems. The role combines deep technical knowledge with strong stakeholder and executive management, ensuring projects meet regulatory, budgetary and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technically complex projects from concept through implementation, managing scope, schedule, quality and budget.
• Oversee deployment and integration of sophisticated Voice over IP, radio communication and data communication systems, preferably in aviation or other regulated environments.
• Act as primary liaison for senior leadership and executive committees, providing clear reporting, strategic insights and high-level presentations.
• Drive public procurement processes, draft tender documentation, define technical specifications and evaluate bids.
• Manage vendor performance, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance and mitigate third-party risks.
• Develop and control project budgets, monitor financial performance and ensure cost efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate risks, guaranteeing compliance with safety, regulatory and governance standards.

Required profile

• 5–10+ years of project management experience delivering technically complex, safety-critical systems.
• Proven experience in aviation or equivalent regulated sectors.
• Basic project management certification such: PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder, team and executive management capabilities.
