Technical CAD Drawer – Life Sciences

About the role

We are seeking a Technical CAD Drawer to join our engineering team and support the design and development of electrical and automation projects in industrial environments. You will create and maintain high‑quality electrical schematics and documentation, working closely with engineers, project managers and technical specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts and technical drawings using EPLAN Electric P8.
• Create and maintain project documentation such as bills of materials, cable lists, terminal plans and electrical design files.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, automation specialists and project managers to translate technical requirements into detailed drawings.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications and internal engineering procedures.
• Support design reviews, incorporate feedback and provide drawing modifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain drawing databases, guaranteeing accuracy, traceability and version control.
• Participate in technical problem‑solving activities and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives related to documentation and design processes.

Required profile

• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial Automation or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Technical CAD Drawer, Electrical Designer or Drafting Technician.
• Strong hands‑on experience with EPLAN Electric P8.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, industrial installations, control panels and automation equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, electrical standards and engineering documentation.
• Fluent French (written and spoken) and professional English (B2‑C1).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
