Tech Lead – B2B Data Business Specialist

About the role

Join Toyota Motor Europe as a Tech Lead in the B2B Data Business team, driving innovative connected‑vehicle data solutions and AI‑powered products for mobility partners. You will shape the technical direction of data‑driven services used by leasing, finance, insurance, fleet and data‑aggregator customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions and align solutions with stakeholders across Connected Technology, IT&D, Enterprise Architecture, Privacy, Quality, Legal and Regulation.
• Define and document technical requirements, guide development teams, support testing, and validate final deliveries.
• Ensure all data use cases comply with cybersecurity (SSDLC) and regulatory (UN R155) standards.
• Identify, design and drive AI use cases that create measurable business value.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and support adoption.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT, data architecture or cybersecurity.
• Strong ability to work with all organisational levels, showing agility and adaptability.
• Project management experience and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Java, Python and other OOP‑based languages.
• SQL and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Distributed and cloud computing, preferably on AWS.
• AWS Solution Architect – Associate certification (or equivalent Azure/GCP).
• Cybersecurity toolsets (e.g., CI/CD scanners) and knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Understanding of UN R155 cybersecurity regulations.
