Team Leader – Life Insurance Operations

About the role

Keystone Solutions is looking for a Team Leader to head a Life Operations team at a client site in the life insurance sector. The role combines hands‑on operational management with coaching and strategic planning to ensure high‑quality service for corporate and individual clients.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and support the team in daily tasks, providing advice, training and performance coaching.
• Prioritise weekly workload and allocate resources to meet service targets.
• Identify and implement improvements in mail, telephone, and complaints handling processes.
• Adopt a customer‑focused mindset, aligning service delivery with client and broker expectations.
• Translate departmental objectives into clear, measurable goals and monitor results.
• Conduct regular one‑to‑one meetings, performance evaluations and development plans.
• Lead information and project meetings, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Work with the Life Retail Manager to define team strategy and manage the allocated budget.
• Analyse customer complaints and propose effective solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in insurance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the life insurance industry with deep operational knowledge.
• Strong leadership abilities, capable of building trust and driving results.
• Fluent in Dutch and French (or vice‑versa).
• Meticulous, organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Participative leadership style and quick learning in a dynamic environment.
