Support Officer – Investment Back Office (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a Support Officer to join the investment back‑office of a leading Belgian financial services firm. The position blends operational, IT and market‑related tasks, serving as the first point of contact for both internal users and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for operational and IT‑related requests.
• Register, analyse and follow up on incidents and service requests.
• Monitor IT production to ensure smooth operation of business‑critical applications.
• Escalate issues when necessary and coordinate with internal support teams.
• Provide support to internal users as well as external clients.
• Contribute to maintaining high service quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience in a securities back‑office environment (bank, brokerage or custodian).
• Good understanding of financial markets and financial instruments.
• Fluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of French.
• Organised, analytical and solution‑oriented.
• Comfortable working in a team and interacting with various stakeholders.
