Supply Chain Specialist – Automotive

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Specialist for the automotive sector to ensure safe, high‑performance and cost‑effective delivery of winter complete wheels and tyres across multiple European markets. The role is based in Brussels and focuses on planning, risk mitigation and customer relationship management throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse market forecasts to build production and component supply plans for the winter complete wheels season.
• Set, monitor and report supply‑management KPIs, escalating critical issues when needed.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, Parts Supply Chain Group and National Sales & Marketing Companies to mitigate risks and avoid shortages.
• Act as the primary point of contact for market customers, implementing a structured CRM methodology and monitoring related KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement (kaizen, PDCA, DMAIC) by developing standards, tools and automation solutions.

Required profile

• Fluent English with a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
• Master’s degree in economics, engineering, IT, business or a related field.
• Proven experience in supply‑management or CRM implementation within the automotive or tyre industry.
• Strong analytical background handling large data sets and presenting complex problems clearly.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel for business needs.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, Access, VBA, Power BI and Power Automate for data handling and workflow automation.
• Python scripting for reporting and analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NPA.
• Knowledge of problem‑solving methods (TBP, 8D) and continuous‑improvement tools (PDCA, Kaizen, DMAIC, A3 reporting).
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing (TPS) and project‑management principles.
