Special Educator – Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Educator to support children with developmental, learning, behavioral, and communication challenges. The role involves creating individualized learning plans and delivering targeted interventions to help each child achieve academic, social, and life‑skill goals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify learning and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Deliver one‑on‑one and small‑group intervention sessions.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to each child’s requirements.
• Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly.
• Collaborate with parents, therapists, psychologists, and other professionals.
• Support children’s academic, behavioral, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain session records, progress reports, and documentation.
• Participate in parent meetings, reviews, and team discussions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
• Certification/Diploma in Special Education preferred.
• Relevant experience with children who have special needs is preferred, but fresh graduates with strong interest may apply.

• Strong understanding of learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, and developmental delays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to create engaging, individualized learning strategies.
