Spa & Retail Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Spa & Retail Receptionist to join the Bamford Wellness Spa at Daylesford Farm. The role is front‑of‑house focused, delivering a five‑star guest experience and, where qualified, supporting therapists with treatments on an ad‑hoc basis.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients, ensuring a premium service throughout their visit.
• Manage all client bookings using the spa’s online system and coordinate with therapists to maximise appointment occupancy.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across spa, retail, and food‑and‑beverage areas.
• Promote and recommend retail products, treatments, and classes to drive sales.
• Complete treatment questionnaires accurately and support the Spa Management Team with ad‑hoc duties and event set‑up.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, seeking solutions.

Required profile

• Passionate about the Bamford philosophy of conscious living and sustainability.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, able to manage inventory and stock control.
• Organised, capable of juggling bookings, sales targets, and occasional weekend shifts.

Required skills

• Experience in luxury retail or a spa environment (advantageous).
• Familiarity with health and safety standards in a wellness setting.
