Solutions Architect (Hybrid, 1-year contract)

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role is hybrid, with two days on‑site and three days remote, and is initially for a one‑year fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern high‑level solution architecture principles aligned with enterprise standards.
• Guide Agile teams in translating architecture into implementable designs.
• Design and oversee cloud‑native and hybrid solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to align business, functional, and technical domains.
• Act as a technical advisor, facilitating decision‑making and consistent architectural direction.
• Drive non‑functional requirements such as performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Manage the technical lifecycle of applications and platforms for long‑term sustainability.
• Support Azure platform lifecycle management, including certificate and identity management, platform maintenance and upgrades, monitoring, and operational improvements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 + years of experience in solution architecture.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across architects, engineers, developers, and business representatives.
• Proven ability to lead meetings, present architectural decisions, and ensure alignment.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Combination of conceptual, strategic thinking with a hands‑on, pragmatic mindset.
