Software Engineer (Real-time Drone Detection)

About the role

Senhive is building next‑generation counter‑drone solutions that make invisible threats visible. As a Software Engineer you will help design, develop and maintain the core detection and tracking systems that power real‑time drone detection and signal intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core detection and tracking software.
• Build tools and services that connect hardware (SDRs, FPGAs, sensors) with AI‑driven analytics.
• Collaborate with signal‑processing and AI engineers to deploy algorithms efficiently.
• Design, implement and stabilise internal APIs, micro‑services and data pipelines.
• Create command‑line utilities and backend dashboards.
• Write tests, fix bugs and continuously improve system robustness.

Required profile

• Fluent in Python and/or C++ and eager to learn new languages.
• Strong understanding of computer‑science fundamentals such as data structures, networking and I/O.
• Comfortable working on Linux systems and familiar with the full development lifecycle (Git, CI).
• Enjoy solving real‑world problems and can reverse‑engineer when needed.
• Clear communicator who asks questions when things are unclear.
