Software Engineer – Rail Transport

About the role

Médiane Benelux is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join its rail transport team. You will help design and develop cutting‑edge software solutions that support the mobility of tomorrow, collaborating closely with domain experts and integration specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop software specifications and architectures based on rail expert requirements.
• Define and manage technical specifications and subsystem requirements.
• Improve development processes, methods, and tools.
• Support integration activities, including validation and implementation.
• Contribute to innovative software projects for future transportation systems.

Required profile

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (software, electronics, industrial, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ development on Linux.
• Project management experience is a strong asset.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Highly organized, autonomous, and able to ramp up quickly.
