Social Media Manager

About the role

We are looking for a structured and creative Social Media Manager to lead content direction, build production systems, and grow engaged communities across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms for four consumer brands. You will coordinate internal teams and external creators while using data to continuously improve performance. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Brussels.

Key responsibilities

• Define visual and narrative direction for each brand on each platform and maintain gold‑standard examples.
• Translate product launch narratives into detailed social content plans and ensure timely scheduling.
• Lead a team of Social Media Coordinators, an Influencer Outreach Specialist, and 3‑5 external creators, managing briefs, reviews and workflows.
• Design and oversee community moderation systems, including tone, escalation paths and crisis protocols.
• Produce a monthly Social Intelligence Brief with community insights and competitive analysis for brand managers.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of social media management experience, with at least 1 year leading a team or coordinating external creators.
• Experience directing content production for consumer brands (DTC, FMCG, or sustainability‑adjacent preferred).
• Proven ability to manage multiple brands or product lines simultaneously.
• Experience briefing, reviewing and providing feedback to freelance or external creators.
• Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok formats, algorithms and audience behavior.
• Analytical mindset comfortable with platform analytics and data‑driven decision making.
