PR Account Director – Integrated Media (Belgian Market)

About the role

Weber Shandwick is seeking a purpose‑driven PR Account Director to lead integrated media work for the Belgian market. The role combines strategic communications, media relations and cultural insight to deliver impactful campaigns for a portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor on corporate positioning, reputation management and integrated media strategy.
• Develop and execute structured communications plans with the account team.
• Craft compelling narratives and content, leveraging news‑worthy angles and stakeholder insights.
• Maintain deep knowledge of local news cycles, cultural shifts and the Belgian media ecosystem.
• Use social and analytics tools to track performance, report results and continuously optimise campaigns.
• Mentor and develop direct reports while contributing to new business development.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of PR experience (agency or in‑house) with a proven record of successful corporate communications campaigns.
• Strong network of relationships across Belgian media, including journalists, editors, podcasters and digital creators.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French with a good command of English.

• Proficiency with social media monitoring and analytics tools for campaign measurement.
