Service Projects Team Leader

About the role

ABB's Service Projects Team Leader leads the Project Management Office (PMO) team and empowers Project Managers and Service Coordinators to deliver service projects with clarity and discipline. The role covers projects across Belgium and Luxembourg and sits within the Electrification Service Division, reporting to the Service Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and empower the PMO team so that the full service project portfolio is delivered at a high performance level.
• Personally manage and execute selected key projects, setting the operational and behavioural benchmark for excellence.
• Promote a customer-first mindset and drive urgency, care and a qualitative service experience in every engagement.
• Partner with customers on site to identify operational improvements, remove pain points and unlock new value.
• Oversee the project portfolio through structured reviews with project managers and leadership teams.
• Act as the escalation point for project challenges, resolving issues quickly and setting a path forward.
• Shape and implement the project execution strategy that keeps ABB ahead of customer needs and the market.

Required profile

• A technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or energy engineering.
• Experience as a (service) project manager in electrical engineering.
• Solid experience managing scope, cost, schedules and external partners.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Flexible and able to maintain oversight during busy periods.

Required skills

• Technical foundation in servicing, maintaining, commissioning or repairing electrical components.
• Project management of scope, cost and schedule.
