Senior Software Engineer / Tech Lead

About the role

FlowTribe is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will also act as Tech Lead for a small, high‑performing engineering team. You will work hands‑on while guiding architecture, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product, AI, and UI/UX leads to deliver core platform components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship key features for the platform using Angular, NestJS and TypeScript.
• Lead a small team of engineers, conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, AI, and design stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Define and evolve technical strategy, improve development workflows, and ensure scalability, security and maintainability.
• Participate in hands‑on coding, debugging and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software engineering or engineering leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and security considerations.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative culture.
