Senior Security Architect

About the role

Devoteam, a consulting firm focused on digital transformation, is hiring a Senior Security Architect (Cyber Security Architect) for its Cyber Trust team in Belgium. The role is a technical leadership position acting as the main interface between cyber security and network engineering teams at customers' sites, and works on-site at the client's office, at Devoteam in Zaventem or from home.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cyber security standards across the customer's infrastructure, on-premise or in the cloud.
• Evaluate the security of new initiatives and significant changes, and identify risks in the existing architecture.
• Propose improvements to cyber security controls and help prioritize and implement corrective actions.
• Design solutions for complex technical challenges that comply with stakeholder regulations, policies and processes.
• Work with customers' business and technical staff to capture, discuss and verify cyber risks.

Required profile

• Minimum 5-10 years of hands-on experience in IT and/or security.
• Good understanding of security concepts such as Zero Trust Network, CASB, Cloud computing, SIEM, PKI, DevSecOps, IAM and PAM.
• Solid understanding of business strategy, risk, regulation and technical constraints.
• Awareness of architectural frameworks (SABSA, TOGAF) and compliance frameworks (ISO27001, NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, GDPR, OWASP).
• Experience with security architecture specifications, analysis, requirements, standards, reference architectures, strategies, threat modelling and risk assessment.
• Preferred: Master's degree in computer science, engineering or cyber security, or equivalent IT security experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with good working knowledge of English.

Required skills

• CISSP, ISO27001, CompTIA Security+ or SANS certification required; other certifications are a plus.
• Good communication, presentation and writing skills, and ability to work independently and proactively.
