Senior Project Manager – Transformation Office

About the role

Allianz Benelux is driving a large‑scale transformation to strengthen its business and deliver added value for customers and stakeholders. We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Transformation Office and lead medium‑to‑large projects across multiple business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget while maximizing business value.
• Translate business needs into clear project objectives, deliverables and recommendations, taking full ownership of content and process.
• Formulate fact‑based positions, defend them with senior stakeholders and remain open to constructive challenge.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external providers, fostering collaboration and alignment.
• Manage resources, budgets and risks, implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present concise project updates and decision‑making presentations to senior management.
• Apply the appropriate methodology (waterfall, agile or hybrid) based on project context.
• Promote knowledge sharing, coaching and a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a top‑tier consulting firm or project‑driven corporate environment.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
• Excellent executive communication skills, capable of distilling complex topics into compelling stories.
• Team player with leadership potential and a desire to coach others.
• Fluent in English and at least one local language (Dutch or French).
