Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will drive the design, implementation and operation of cloud‑native platforms for both internal services and client projects. Working autonomously, you will shape multi‑cloud environments, champion open‑source solutions and ensure the reliability and security of critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain scalable infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP, focusing on reliability, security and efficiency.
• Lead architecture initiatives for internal systems and client engagements, managing projects from scoping through deployment and optimisation.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads, including Helm chart development and deployment automation.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows to improve deployment reliability.
• Implement observability solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch.
• Collaborate with client teams to transfer knowledge and establish sustainable operational practices.
• Contribute to open‑source projects and participate in technical communities.
• Support cloud security best practices such as IAM/RBAC, secrets management and infrastructure governance.
• Mentor team members and work asynchronously with globally distributed engineering teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Strong experience with at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and familiarity with all three.
• Advanced expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration and Helm chart development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git.
