Senior Functional Analyst – Utilities (MIGDGO/MIG6)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst with deep utilities expertise to join our Technology Resources team in Brussels. You will work on high‑impact IT implementation projects focused on the MIGDGO/MIG6 market model, translating business needs into robust functional solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements and convert them into detailed functional specifications.
• Produce comprehensive design documentation outlining proposed solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Validate solution correctness through rigorous testing and quality checks.
• Participate in daily stand‑ups and regular stakeholder meetings to discuss progress, resolve issues, and define next steps.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a Business or Functional Analyst in the utilities sector, specifically on MIGDGO/MIG6 projects.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Experience working with offshore development teams is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Fluent English communication skills.
