Senior Financial Analyst (Remote Contract)

About the role

Mercor is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its remote team on a contract basis. You will work independently to evaluate financial documents, improve modeling accuracy, and support AI research labs with high‑quality financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess financial and business documents for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Provide structured feedback on document analysis to enhance evaluation projects.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial model precision and business data insights.
• Work asynchronously, meeting deadlines and project goals without direct supervision.
• Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to produce comprehensive financial analyses and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (minimum).
• At least 2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and written communication abilities.
• Based in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, or Canada.
