Senior Expert Software Engineer

About the role

Join the Group Business Solutions (GBS) division to design and sustain cutting‑edge IT solutions for financial market securities. As a Senior Expert Software Engineer you will lead complex technical initiatives, mentor peers, and ensure strong alignment between technology and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Drive design, architecture, and implementation of scalable technical solutions, owning complex features from concept to delivery.
• Participate in detailed design sessions, define system scope, and validate development processes.
• Develop and modify procedures to solve complex problems while considering capacity and performance constraints.
• Support testing teams throughout all testing phases and contribute to application testing when needed.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to mid‑level engineers, fostering technical maturity.
• Lead ideation workshops, shape high‑impact ideas, and guide multi‑team feature estimation and validation.
• Maintain production stability by leading investigations, delivering durable fixes, and proactively resolving systemic issues.
• Promote best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience as a software engineer.
• Deep understanding of software system architectures and design principles.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and anticipate technical implementations.
