About the role
The Senior Engineer DCS (NaaS) will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of complex enterprise network infrastructures for a NATO-secret environment in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium. This position requires deep expertise in routing and switching technologies and a strong focus on operational excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy and sustain enterprise network solutions following CCNP‑level best practices.
- Manage day‑to‑day network operations, including monitoring, capacity planning, upgrades and lifecycle activities.
- Configure, optimise and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF and STP.
- Collaborate with security and project teams to ensure compliance with NATO Secret clearance requirements.
Required profile
- Minimum CCNP (Enterprise) certification or equivalent advanced networking certification.
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in BGP, OSPF and STP.
- Ability to obtain and maintain NATO Secret security clearance.
Required skills
- CCNP certification (or equivalent).
- Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF.
- Switching protocol: STP.
