Senior DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Our client, a leading transportation company, is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a hybrid team in Brussels. You will work on automating the software delivery lifecycle while embedding security throughout the process, supporting mission‑critical real‑time systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and document automated deployment solutions for software, operating systems and supporting tools.
• Develop and maintain deployment automation processes, monitoring capabilities and patching activities.
• Participate in production deployments, updates and roll‑outs, providing support and gathering feedback.
• Monitor security vulnerabilities, contribute to cybersecurity initiatives and recommend mitigation measures.
• Deploy, maintain and support development environments and assist with IT equipment installation when needed.
• Evaluate, test and implement new technologies to enhance the DevSecOps toolchain.
• Provide second‑line support for applications and infrastructure, including occasional night and weekend interventions during go‑live and hyper‑care periods.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a technical field or at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a DevOps/DevSecOps environment and 3 years in cybersecurity‑related activities.
• Strong documentation habits, structured and detail‑oriented mindset, and a collaborative team attitude.
• Fluent in English and either French or Dutch.
