Senior Consultant – Transformation

About the role

AION Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant – Transformation to lead large‑scale ERP and ICT migration programmes. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure consistent governance, methodology adoption, and stakeholder alignment across complex initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Support the PMO in governing and executing complex ERP/ICT implementation programmes.
• Define, implement and champion project management methodologies (Prince2, PMBOK, Agile) and best‑practice frameworks.
• Establish standards for project planning, execution, monitoring and reporting.
• Select, configure and manage tools such as Microsoft Project and related ecosystems.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation (plans, risk registers, decision logs, governance reports).
• Collect, analyse and report progress, budget, milestones and KPIs to support decision‑making.
• Assist with resource planning, capacity tracking and conflict resolution.
• Identify risks, define mitigation actions and contribute to risk management processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and alignment across public entities, IT partners and internal teams.
• Support asset and configuration management, including licensing and tracking tools.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial, structured, autonomous and solution‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in PMO, project management or consulting, preferably in transformation programmes.
• Proven experience in complex stakeholder environments; public‑sector exposure is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and professional English.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities.
