Senior Consultant – Strategy & Transformation in Banking

About the role

BDO is looking for a Senior Consultant to lead strategy and transformation initiatives within the banking sector. You will work closely with clients to drive operational excellence, reduce costs, and embed digital solutions that shape the future of banking operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead agile projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Support change management and adoption of new solutions, tailored to client culture.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and AI opportunities.
• Gather and translate business requirements into actionable application enhancements.
• Facilitate digital transformation by digitising manual processes and modernising legacy systems.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in banking, consulting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of banking services such as lending, daily banking, or payments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (native) and proficient in the other language, plus English.
• Ability to identify new project opportunities and contribute to sales efforts.
