Senior Analyst – Global Public Sector Operations

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Global Public Sector Operations will support Mastercard's Global Public Sector team in managing administration, planning and financial needs, turning data into insights and ensuring alignment across regions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate raw data into actionable financial insights.
• Build scalable financial models and tracking tools.
• Support monthly and quarterly performance tracking.
• Partner with Finance and regional teams to ensure methodology and reporting consistency.
• Produce executive‑ready outputs for leadership decisions.
• Track, manage and report on key team KPIs globally and regionally.
• Use dashboards to extract data and generate performance analysis.
• Plan senior staff meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes and follow‑up actions.
• Monitor the budget in partnership with Finance.
• Provide analytics and reporting support to all verticals, both planned and ad‑hoc.
• Assist in developing and maintaining training materials, process documentation and related resources.
• Maintain shared document repositories and drives.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, consulting or analytics within complex environments.
• Detail‑oriented and structured thinker with strong ownership mindset.
• Excellent analytical ability to turn data into business insights.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
